LimePro Lime Plaster can also be mixed with water-only to create a fine lime plaster for skim coats or detailed finishes. LimePro lime plaster coat is versatile, incredibly easy to use and as a preservation coating, works wonders on old masonry walls by gently filling voids, reducing dust, and creating a protective surface coating that still allows your masonry to breathe. This plaster is suited for traditional plaster repairs and restoration projects.
Key Benefits:
- Easy Application, Versatile Finish: Simply mix LimePro with 2-3 parts sand for most common applications. Add water, mix, and trowel-on. Finish with a brush, trowel, or sponge, depending on your desired aesthetic and the specific needs of your project.
- Multi-Surface Use: LimePro is ideal for a variety of masonry surfaces, including brick, stone, and even concrete, providing comprehensive protection against the elements. This lime plaster can be used as a decorative plaster finish on drywall and other non-mineral surfaces with proper priming and preparation. Natural lime material resists biological growth on the plaster surface in damp environments.
- Breathable & Protective: Unlike dense, cement-based coatings that can trap moisture and lead to deterioration, LimePro's breathable formula allows moisture to escape, ensuring the longevity of your historic or aging masonry. Excellent as a sacrificial coating.
- Gentle on Masonry: No Portland cement means LimePro respects the natural thermal movement of masonry, preventing unsightly cracks and delamination that can occur with less flexible coatings.
- Dust Reduction: When used as a preservation coating, say goodbye to unsightly dust and airborne particles! LimePro creates a smooth, protective layer that minimizes dust that is common to older buildings, improving both the appearance and air quality around your masonry. Natural lime material resists biological growth on the plaster surface in damp environments.
- Proudly Made in the USA: LimePro is manufactured by ProMason Supply, an American company providing high-quality lime plaster and masonry preservation products.
Safety Precautions:
- Always wear appropriate safety gear, including gloves and eye protection, when handling mortar.

from 53 reviewsTook me a year (due to pauses in the project) but I’m finally finished! Stripped thick white paint off of my fireplace and all the scrubbing and scraping left the brick with a grey wash. I used the burgundy stain and it’s like it was never painted!
Been great on helping me with a lime mortar that I couldn't find in my area
Truly loved their Rock Stain! It took our nast colored stone and truly lifted it back to life! Will boast and promote this business every chance I get!
We have an old stone fence that was damaged, and the stone mason just used regular concrete to repair it. It didn't match the hundred years of age. I ordered a couple of different colors, and with a little mixing got it to blend. Pro Mason was extremely prompt, which I greatly appreciated. Definitely would recommend.
Great help with my lime mortar questions. Love that I can get a "sample" size container to test colors.
This absolutely is amazing! It worked beautifully on our home and freshened up the stone! Looks beautiful and clean without being heavy!
Prompt and helpful customer service, exemplary company.
The website was easy to order from and I really appreciate the sample sizes. Very fast delivery also and I’m pleased with the product even though I still don’t have a perfect match.
This is really turning out great very satisfied not done yet and haven’t sealed but definitely a better option than replacing the stones scine it in good shape just ugly color used 3 color dark buff brown tone and stone gray
The product came quickly and was as advertised. This is the correct product for old bricks! If I had to do it over again, I would but I would probably order a little more than I did.
