Coverage: About 10-15 square feet per gallon of concentrate at 3/8" total thickness. This is based on each gallon of concentrate making about 3.5-4 gallons of plaster once sand is added. Smooth, flat walls are at the high end. Rough stone, open joints and uneven walls use more and sit at the low end. Thicker work uses proportionally more: at 5/8", plan on about 6-9 square feet per gallon. Mix 1 part concentrate with 2.5-3 parts clean, sharp sand by volume for every coat, using finer sand for the last coat. Use the Plaster Estimator below for your wall.
Typical thickness: two-coat preservation parge, about 3/8"-5/8" total. Traditional three-coat plaster (scratch, brown, finish), about a 3/8" system, built thicker on uneven walls. Single working coat on masonry, 1/8"-1/4".

Discover the timeless appeal and superior performance of LimePro. This specialized, natural lime plaster is a sand-free concentrate. Mixed with sand, it is a versatile solution for traditional plaster systems, parging and lime stucco on brick, stone and concrete.
Economical Base Plaster: When sand is added, LimePro transforms into an economical traditional plaster. This makes it ideal for building up base coats in a classic three-coat finish on both new and restoration projects.
Durable Lime Stucco and Exterior Parging: Create a traditional lime stucco or parge for a lasting, breathable finish on exterior walls, chimneys and above-grade foundations. For exterior work, finish with Masonry Responder Sealer once the lime has cured.
Preservation Parge: Apply as a two-coat parge on basement, cellar and foundation walls of brick and stone. It reduces dusting and gives a breathable, sacrificial mineral surface. It is not waterproofing. Above grade outside, finish with Masonry Responder Sealer once the lime has cured. Never use a water repellent below grade. Once cured, it can be stained, color-washed (with water-diluted stain), or limewashed for a beautiful lime plaster finish. For a smooth skim coat or decorative finish, use our pre-pigmented Color Skim lime plaster, colored with mineral pigments and made for thin finish coats.
Made with a pozzolanic hydraulic lime and free from Portland cement, this plaster concentrate is mixed with sand for every coat: coarser sand for base and parge coats, finer sand for the last coat, and for lime stucco. One gallon of this concentrate makes about 3.5-4 gallons of ready-to-use lime plaster when mixed with 2.5-3 parts sand to 1 part concentrate. Coverage is based on the concentrate you buy, not the finished plaster.

Product worked well.
My tile/mason guy convinced me to not add any color to my mortar and it drove me insane that I let him talk me out of my vision. I just put the Cream stain on my grout for my bricked floor in my mudroom and I can't begin to tell you how happy I was with the result. We ended up using it strait and didn't water it down. There were some areas that absorbed super quickly and needed a second coat. I can't wait to seal it in to protect it.

This product did exactly what I had hoped for. I had a brick look tile floor that I wanted to distress to a German schmear type of look. I originally left too much on for my liking… my schmear was a little too schmearing!! But Goo Gone Graffiti Remover and a scrub brush did the trick. So happy I found this product. First pic is final results, second pic is original floor, and third was the too much in the middle.
I mixed dark buff, white clay and water (each 1 part ratio). The result was awesome and so easy to use. Applied to stone and grout to soften the gray tone of the creekstone fireplace to appear more beige/soft tan. Love it and highly recommend!
