For traditional 3 coat finishes, sand must be added to the mixture at 3 parts sand to 1 part plaster for the scratch & brown coats. No sand or optional fine sand added to the finish coat.

Economical Base Plaster: When sand is added, LimePro transforms into an economical traditional plaster. This makes it ideal for building up base coats in a classic three-coat finish on both new and restoration projects.
Durable Lime Stucco: Create a high-performance, traditional lime stucco for a lasting and breathable exterior wall finish. Apply our Responder Masonry Water Repellent for added exterior durability.
Decorative Skim Coat: As a concentrate, apply a smooth, traditional lime skim coat directly over primed drywall. It’s the perfect way to achieve a beautiful, decorative finish without a multi-coat system. Can be & stained, color-washed (with water diluted stain), or lime-washed to create a beautiful lime plaster finishes. For an easier-to-use skim coat, our pre-pigmented Color Skim lime plaster is colored with mineral pigments and easier to finish.
Crafted with pure lime and free from harsh Portland cement, this unique plaster concentrate can be mixed with sand to make a coarse plaster base coat (or for lime stucco applications). LimePro Lime Plaster can also be mixed with water-only to create a fine lime plaster for skim coats or detailed finishes. One gallon of this concentrate makes 3-4 gallons of ready-to-use lime plaster when sand is added at a 3/1 ratio (3 parts sand to 1 part Lime Plaster concentrate).
LimePro lime plaster coat is versatile, incredibly easy to use and as a preservation coating, works wonders on old masonry walls by gently filling voids, reducing dust, and creating a protective surface coating that still allows your masonry to breathe. This plaster is suited for traditional plaster repairs and restoration projects.

I love this company! I was determined to lighten the mortar on the brick floor in my sunroom. I sampled a stain from a well-known paint store, but what was supposed to be a stain looked too much like ordinary paint. Then, I went on the hunt. I found ProMason Supply on Google. First, I ordered two samples of water-based stain hoping one would be just right, but it was the mixing of the two (Cream and Dark Buff) that got me the color I wanted.
