Traditional limewash by James Alexander Paint is perfect as a breathable and non-film-forming finish for brick, plaster, and porous stone surfaces.
This interior/exterior limewash is fully prepared and tinted. Stir thoroughly and apply with a brush to porous masonry or plaster surfaces. Block-style limewash or stain brushes are best suited for the thin viscosity of limewash that is designed to penetrate into masonry and slowly cure by carbonation, rather than forming a film that can peel from the surface of masonry.
- Ready-to-apply from the can in 6 pre-tinted mineral colors
- Interior / Exterior - For brick, stone, and plaster/concrete/stucco wall surfaces
- Coverage +/- 300 sf per-gallon. Coverage will vary depending on surface.
- Traditional limewash formula - pure mineral with no added binders
- Apply to exposed brick, plaster, and stone surfaces - no primer required
- Can be diluted with water to create a more subtle wash-effect
- Can be distressed for an old-world worn limewash look
