Limestone Patching Mortar Kit

This kit contains a gallon of High-Build lime repair mortar for building up missing material and a quart of Low-Build lime repair mortar for finishing surface details.

These single component mortars require water only as well as any desired color pigments to create a patching mortar and finishing mortar for versatile limestone surface repairs.

Contains:

• 1 gallon of High-Build Lime Patching Mortar in Natural White Color 
• 1 quart of Low-Build Lime Patching Mortar in Natural White Color
• 1 pack of Light Buff mineral pigment default with each container of mortar
• 1 additional color pack of Dark Buff mineral pigment 
• 1 additional color pack of Charcoal color pigment

These mortars are softer than cement or epoxy-based repair mortars and are highly breathable and sympathetic to existing masonry to facilitate repairs to both modern and historic structures. 

Colors included are the Dark Buff and Charcoal colorfast mortar pigments for making adjustments in color of the mix. 

This patching kit is comprised of our single component PHL lime mortar patching mortars which are free of Portland cement and allow for extended working time, being able to be carved and sanded easily in excess of a week after placement. 

High-Build repair mortar is a fine-fiber reinforced lightweight mixture that is suitable for vertical and overhead patching work and can build-up surfaces up to 3" per-lift. It can be carved and stamped.

Low-Build repair mortar is a fine repair mortar. The fine sand in our mix ensures a smooth, creamy consistency that is perfect for filling hairline cracks and achieving a featheredge finish up to 1/4 inch lifts. This material is able to be shaped, carved, stamped, and sanded for various finish requirements.
